HOW TO ENROL IN DRIP (PART 2) --- > CapitaLand Malaysia Trust - Income Distribution (with Dividend Re-Investment Plan) - Ex Date 18 August 2023

1) How to elect for Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRIP) after CLMT had made announcement to Bursa Malaysia and notice for the DRIP has been sent to your email address registered with the Share Registrar?

The above announcement can be obtained from CLMT website or KLSE Screener or Bursa Malaysia Website under the announcement.

2) Before you proceed to the next step, you should ensure that you have done the procedures which I had highlighted in the past.

3) If you have account registered with the Share Registrar or Unit Registrar, you will receive an email and a Notice of Election for DRIP from Tricor.

4) Please read the email completely and take note or observe the deadline for the election which is on 13 September 2023. Payment date will be on 25 September 2023. 

5) You may log in to Tricor website or download and view the attachment for your entitlement. You may check your entitlement using formula as follows: -

If you opt for cash dividend: -

Number of CLMT shares x [RM 0.0114 (taxable portion) + RM0.0005 (non-taxable portion] = cash dividend 

If you elect for DRIP

RM0.0114 is taxable portion, you need to times 90% only which results in around RM0.01026 PLUS non taxable portion of RM0.0005 and total is around RM0.01076; then divided by discount price of DRIP of RM0.4767
